A copy of the official presentation outlining the approach and findings of the Generator Contract Review Report is now available on the IESO web site. The presentation took place on September 16 and was led by Charles River Associates, the report authors.
The Minister of Energy, Northern Development and Mines directed the IESO to retain the services of a third party consultant to review targeted generation contracts. The full report reviews cost-saving opportunities in the management of targeted generation contracts. The review is part of the Ontario government’s efforts to identify opportunities to reduce electricity costs for consumers.
