Toronto: Hydro One Limited announced April 30 that the Ontario Energy Board had approved applications for the acquisition of the Ontario-based utility Orillia Power Distribution Corporation from the City of Orillia, and the business and distribution assets of Peterborough Distribution Inc. from the City of Peterborough.
Hydro One has been building a new grid control centre in Orillia.
