OEB hosts conference on DERs

As part of its launch of two new regulatory proceedings, the Ontario Energy Board invited market participants and concerned parties to a conference on Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). Interest was unusually high for a regulatory consultation, attracting more than 100 participants. In order to accommodate all the parties who wished to make presentations, Board staff extended the timeline for the conference from two to three days.

The three day conference took place from September 16 through 18. For details, readers may visit the OEB website where transcripts, presentations and related consultant reports are freely available. A summary of APPrO’s presentation is included in the article “APPrO comments at the OEB Stakeholder Conference on DERs” elsewhere in this issue of IPPSO FACTO, and the powerpoint is available at this location. The post-event summary report prepared by StrategyCorp is available on the Board website at this location.
