Toronto: Toronto Hydro Corporation announced August 27 that Aida Cipolla, CPA, CA, had been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ms. Cipolla replaces Sean Bovingdon, the former CFO, who has left the Corporation. Ms. Cipolla is formerly the Corporation's Controller since December 2015.
Ms. Cipolla has over 15 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, financial systems and controls, and financial planning and analysis. Ms. Cipolla started with Toronto Hydro in 2008 and has held various senior leadership roles within the Finance division. Ms. Cipolla is a Chartered Professional Accountant with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and the former Chair of the Canadian Electricity Association's Finance and Accounting Committee.
