Toronto: Samsung Renewable Energy, Inc. and Pattern Energy Group LP (“Pattern Development”) announced October 9 that their Belle River Wind power facility in Lakeshore, Ontario was up and running. The 100 megawatt Belle River Wind power facility has completed construction and is fully operational.
Pattern Development CEO Mike Garland said Belle River is the fifth wind power facility the company has completed in Ontario, and seventh across Canada, totaling nearly 1.3 gigawatts of operational capacity in the country. He expected another project to reach completion later in the year in Quebec.
