Update on the outage management process redesign

The next phase of the IESO’s Outage Management Process Redesign began in April and is expected to continue through 2015. The stakeholder sessions will focus on reviewing and developing the Final Process Redesign in the following areas:

• Proposed Software Capabilities of the Successful RFP Respondent (Vendor)

• Implementation Plan for the Final Process Design and Software Solution

• Outage Assessment Methodologies

• Security and Adequacy Reporting

• Market Rule and Manual Changes

          This stakeholder engagement was established to ensure that market participants who submit outage information to the IESO have an opportunity to provide feedback and input in the process redesign.
