Indigenous energy projects making remarkable gains in Canada

It would be a serious mistake to overlook the significance of indigenous led energy projects in Canada. The latest reports show that Indigenous communities and enterprises are collectively the third-largest owner of clean energy assets in Canada, renewable energy projects doubled in Canada’s remote communities over the five years from 2015 – 2020, and more than $25 million in new First Nations’ investments were announced in BC on June 18.
