Members of a Canada-wide, non-partisan task force to identify and recommend ways to guide the country to a post-Covid-19 green economic recovery were recently announced.
As we come out of the COVID-19 crisis, the task force says, Canada will need to make a once-in-a-generation investment in economic recovery. “We must kick-start the economy and job growth immediately while laying the foundation for strengthened competitiveness in a low-carbon global economy that will position Canada for future prosperity.” The task force is an independent, non-government body.
