Hydro World reported in its January 18 issue that two proposed hydropower installations in Alberta, the Pelican Renewable Generating Station Project and Sundog Renewable Generating Station Project, had moved the federal environmental assessment stage.
The 135 MW Pelican is being developed by Pelican RGS GP Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. Sundog, also 135 MW, is being developed by Sundog RGS GP Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Innergex Renewable Energy. Public comment in both cases was due by February 9.
