New publication launched on Environment and Economy

A new online Canadian publication has entered the scene with intentions to disseminate expert analysis and opinion on the political and economic implications of alternative policy options on environmental issues. Canadians for Clean Prosperity (CCP) released the inaugural issue of Environment and Economy Review in early September. Mark Cameron, Executive Director of CCP, described it as “a magazine focused on fostering ideas about pragmatic, economically friendly approaches to tackling today's environmental challenges.”

          Articles featured in its opening edition included: John Manley’s “Business Case for Carbon Pricing,” articles from Canadian thought leaders like David Frum, Gordon Campbell, Jean Charest, Beth Hardy, Greg Lyle, Preston Manning and Monte Solberg. Mr. Solberg’s article is titled “How Conservatives Can Reclaim the Mantle of Conservation.”

          “It has never been more crucial for Canadians to be informed, and engaged in the debate about environmental solutions,” Mr. Cameron says,
