Ottawa: Julie Dill, President of Union Gas and Chair of the Canadian Gas Association, recently announced the appointment of Timothy Egan as President and CEO of the Canadian Gas Association.
Before joining the CGA, Mr. Egan was President of High Park Group (HPG), a public affairs consulting firm with offices in Toronto and Ottawa. Incorporated in 2001, the firm’s principal specialty areas include regulatory and policy matters affecting Canadian industry particularly in the natural resource and transportation sectors.
Mr. Egan will assume his role at CGA effective September 1, 2010. The Canadian Gas Association (CGA) is the voice of Canada’s natural gas delivery industry. CGA members are gas distribution companies, transmission companies, related equipment manufacturers, and other service providers involved in the delivery of natural gas in Canada.
