The Ontario Energy Board issued its final Decision and Order March 21 approving the Independent Electricity System Operator’s proposed fees for the 2007 fiscal year. The OEB approved the IESO’s 2007 revenue requirement of $140 million, inclusive of the revenue requirement associated with the proposed capital expenditures amount of $20 million. The final Decision and Order also sets the IESO’s usage fee for 2007 at $0.815 per megawatt hour as approved in the Interim Rate Order released on December 1, 2006. The IESO’s proposals to continue with its application fee of $1,000 and a rebate to market participants of the amount of the accumulated surplus in excess of $5 million were also approved.
The Decision includes Schedule A, the supplementary settlement proposal presented by the applicant and intervenors, which the Board accepted.
